SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On February 4 2017 at approximately 1400 hours members of the Vermont State Police and Castleton Police Department responded to a one car motor vehicle crash on Black Pond Road in the Town of Hubbardton.

Investigation at the scene revealed that Melanie Pratt, 54, of Brandon , Vermont had been operating her vehicle on Black Pond Road and had rolled the vehicle over. Pratt was extricated from the vehicle by a Castleton Police officer and taken into custody at the scene for suspicion of Driving under the Influence.

Pratt was processed at the Rutland State Police Barracks, cited to appear in court at a later date, and released.
