SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On 2/5/17 at approximately 1706 hours Troopers from the Royalton barracks were dispatched to the area of 145 Store Hill Rd, Bethel for a suspicious case.

 

911 Call info; Complainant advised there was a suspicious male walking around the neighborhood; - he knocked on her neighbors door but she didn't answer it - he then went to another neighbor’s house and walked into her house - He came back out a couple of times (that neighbor wasn't home) - he then stumbled up Oxbow Rd - only description was average height, wearing a black jacket with a gray hoodie - further information provided; neighbor just got home and noticed that the guy went through her belongings.

 

Upon arrival troopers searched the area and located a subject matching the description driving down the class 4, non-plowed section Oxbow Rd. The subject was questioned by troopers concerning the incident, and ultimately processed for DUI. He was positively identified by the eye witness as the offender at the scene. The subject was taken into custody and processed at the Royalton Barracks.
