VIOLATION: Attempting to Elude, Negligent Operation, Violation of Conditions

 

ACCUSED: Nico R. Spaulding                                           

AGE: 35

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Chester, Vermont

 

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On February 5, 2017, at approximately 10:13 PM, while on routine patrol on Vermont Route 103, in the town of Rockingham, the Vermont State Police observed a vehicle in excess of the 50 mph speed limit.

 

Vermont State Police attempted to stop the above vehicle, operated by 35 year old, Nico Spaulding, when he attempted to elude police. Vermont State Police subsequently pursued Spaulding for several miles until he pulled over and surrendered to the Vermont State Police on Parker Hill Road, in the town of Springfield.

 

Spaulding was arrested and transported to the Westminster State Police Barracks for processing. He is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, on March 28, 2017 at 8:00 AM to answer to the above charges.
