SUMMARY:
On February 18th 2017 at approximately 0006 hours the Vermont State Police, St. Albans was notified of a single vehicle rollover in the area of 1209 Border Road in the town of Alburg. Responding Troopers spoke with the operator, identified as Michael Martin (age 36) of North Hero while he was being evaluated for minor injuries sustained during the crash. Subsequent investigation revealed Martin to have been operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. After being released from Northwestern Medical Center, Martin was transported to the St. Albans State Police Barracks for processing. At the conclusion of processing he was released with a citation to appear before the Grand Isle Superior Court on March 2nd, 2017 at 0830 hours to answer the charge of DUI #1.

Vermont State Police were assisted in this case by Alburg Fire and Rescue as well as US Border Patrol.
