SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On January 29, 2017, at approximately 1230 hours, the Vermont State Police received an Emergency 911 call from a male subject advising himself and two others in his ski party had become lost in the woods after skiing out of bounds off a trail located at the Killington Ski Resort.

The Vermont State Police and the Killington Ski Patrol were able to communicate with the parties through their cellular devices.  Using cellular phone coordinates the Killington Ski Patrol was able to guide the lost skiers through the back county and to the Bucklin Trail.  The skiers exited Bucklin trail at approximately 1315 hours, where Troopers from the Vermont State Police were waiting to assist.

None of the skiers were injured as a result of this incident and they refused all medical assistance.
