SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On 01/15/17 at approximately 1:00 AM, the Vermont State Police stopped a vehicle, on VT Route 30 in Newfane for failing to maintain their lane. The operator, Sean Kiziltan, age 21, of Keene NH, was suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol. Kiziltan was administered the Standard Field Sobriety Exercises, but refused to give a preliminary breath sample, and was subsequently arrested for DUI. Kiziltan was processed at the Vermont State Police barracks in Westminster. He was issued a citation to appear in Windham Superior Court Criminal Division on 01/24/17 to answer to the charge of DUI, as well as a warning for the traffic violation.
