SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On 01/01/2017 at approximately 0620 hours, Momaney was traveling at approximately 35-40 miles per hour southbound on Route 5 in Dummerston just south of the intersection with Johnsons Curve Road. As Momaney continued southbound, he lost control due to snow and ice on the roadway. Momaney’s vehicle rotated 180 degrees and struck the guard rail on the west side of the roadway. After the crash, Momaney drive himself to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital for treatment of bumps and bruises.  It should be noted that Momaney’s vehicle was not equipped with snow tires.
