SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On January 2, 2017, at 1215 hours, the Vermont State Police were notified of a single car rollover in the town of St. Johnsbury, VT, on U.S Route 2 between North Danville Road and the interstate on ramp. Upon arrival, the vehicle was off of the south bound lane shoulder facing north.  Investigation revealed Vehicle 1, was heading south on Route 2 at approximately 55 miles per hour when it crossed the white line, hit the snow bank, and rolled over landing on its wheels. Just before the crash, two witnesses were on the phone with the Vermont State Police dispatch reporting erratic operation of the vehicle. According to the witnesses, Tyrell failed to maintain his lane of travel, drove to the right, and was following too closely. There were no injuries.  Vehicle 1 sustained major body damage and no injuries were reported. Tyrell was transported to the Vermont State Police Barracks in St. Johnsbury for processing. Charges pending further investigation.
