SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On 01/14/2017 at approximately 0515 hours, Vermont State Police were advised of a single vehicle crash on VT Route 103, in Shrewsbury. Shrewsbury Fire Department, Clarendon Fire Department, and East Wallingford Fire Department were dispatched to the scene as well.

 

It was found that Samuel S. Dunn, age 16, of North Clarendon, Vermont, had been operating his 1999 Dodge Dakota southbound on VT Route 103. Investigation revealed that Dunn had lost control of his vehicle and traveled off of the shoulder of the roadway subsequently striking a telephone pole.

 

Green Mountain Power arrived on scene shortly after to replace the effected pole. The vehicle was towed due to disabling damage by Carrara’s Towing.
