SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On 01/11/17, at approximately 0523 hours, the Vermont State Police received a

report of a single motor vehicle collision on US Rte. 5 in the Town of Wells

River, VT.

 

Operator Kevin Bacon was traveling south on US Rte. 5 near Bible Hill Road at

approximately 25 mph when he lost control of his vehicle on a right curve and

struck a wooden fence.  No injuries were reported and Bacon's vehicle sustained

minor front end damage. Black ice was a contributing factor to the collision.
