SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On Thursday morning, 1/26/17, at approximately 9:00 AM, Vermont State Police received an E-911 call reporting a male who fell through the ice on Lake Willoughby.  This occurred approximately 50’ off shore in the area of Blueberry Point Lane in Westmore.  The victim was pulled from the water.  The victim was transported to North Country Hospital.  The investigation continues.  There is nothing suspicious.  The body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for Autopsy.   Autopsy results pending.
