SUMMARY OF CRASH:
Vermont State Police, Williston Police Dept., Richmond Police Dept., Underhill/Jericho Fire Dept. and Essex Rescue responded to a single vehicle collision on Skunk Hollow Rd. in the town of Jericho, VT.


Upon arriving on scene, it was determined that the vehicle driven by Lucia had collided with a guardrail and continued traveling approx. 150 feet into a field before rolling and coming to rest on the driver's side of the vehicle.  Despite the significant damage to the vehicle, Lucia was able to exit the vehicle on his own.  He was transported from the scene for non-life threatening injuries sustained in the crash.


Lucia was subsequently processed for suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants.  Charges related to this incident are pending the outcome of a blood analysis by the Vermont Forensic Laboratory.
