SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On January 14th, 2017 at approximately 0049 hours, Vermont State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Governor Peck Rd, in the town of Richmond after observing a traffic violation. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Tammy J. New, age 53 of Jericho.

New was subsequently arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence and transported to the Williston Barracks where she was processed for DUI. New was processed and released on a citation to answer to the charge of DUI.
