SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On 01/24/17 at approximately 1713 hours Vermont State Police and St. Mike's Fire Dept. responded to a single vehicle crash on Interstate 89 Southbound by mile marker 92 in the town of Colchester. The passing lane in this area was closed down for approximately one hour until the vehicle was removed. Through investigations the operator, Alexander Zolotas, was determined to be impaired by drugs. Zolotas was placed under arrest and transported to the Williston State Police Barracks for processing. Zolotas was cited to appear before Chittenden County Courthouse on 2/14/17 at 0815 hours for the offense of Driving Under the Influence.
