SUMMARY OF CRASH: On the attached date and time, Vermont State Police were dispatched to a single vehicle crash on Mountain Rd in East Burke, VT.  After investigation, it was determined the operator, Banta (21) was traveling at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his vehicle and slid off the west side of the roadway.  The vehicle sustained major damage to the front and rear end.  Banta was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash and sustained no injuries.
