CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Hartland, Vermont
SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On this date and time, Vermont State Police stopped a gray in color Ford Fiesta on Interstate 91 southbound at mile marker 52 in the Town of Weathersfield (Winsor County) Vermont, for careless and negligent operation.
Vermont State Police followed behind the Ford Fiesta for a couple miles and observed the vehicle failing to maintain its lane of travel, multiple signal violations, failing to yield to other vehicles and traveling at speeds greater than 95 miles per hour.
Vermont State Police subsequently arrested 35 year old Nathan Fields of Hartland, Vermont for careless and negligent operation and transported him back to the Westminster Barracks for processing. Fields was later released with a criminal citation and is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Winsor Criminal Division, on March 7th, 2017 at 0800 hours to answer to the above charge.
