VIOLATION: DUI - Refusal

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Londonderry, Vermont

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On January 4, 2016, at approximately 20:41 P.M., the Vermont State Police were notified of a vehicle that had been parked next to a snow bank, on the side of Vermont Route 11, in the town of Londonderry for an extended period of time. Upon arrival, Troopers found the operator, Matthew N. Albonizio sleeping in his vehicle. An investigation revealed that Albonizio was operating his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Albonizio was arrested for suspicion of DUI and transported to the Winhall Police Department for processing. There he was cited to appear in Windham County Court, Criminal Division on January 24, 2016 and issued a VCVC for operating his vehicle with a suspended license.
