CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Lagrangeville, New York


SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: The Vermont State Police and Office of the Chief Medical Examiner are investigating the untimely death of William P. Cusano, age sixty-five. Cusano was found collapsed on an intermediate ski trail at the Killington Ski Resort on December 10, 2016, at 2:32 PM. Cusano was transported the Rutland Regional Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead at 3:44 PM. There was no indication that Cusano had been involved in a crash while skiing and his death appears to have been a natural event. Cusano was noted to be an
experienced skier. Cusano will be examined at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Burlington, Vermont, to determine the cause and manner of death. No further information is being released at this time. End of report.
