SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 12/27/16 from approximately 2150 hours to midnight,
Vermont State Police conducted a saturation patrol of the Manchester/Winhall
areas. The objective of this saturation patrol was motor vehicle enforcement to
target aggressive driving as well as to target impaired drivers.

During this patrol, troopers conducted 11 motor vehicle stops, issued several
tickets and warnings and arrested one operator for DUI.

The Vermont State Police conduct these patrols with the safety of the motoring
public in mind. These patrols often target impaired drivers and aggressive
driving, both of which are frequently found to be the cause or a factor in many
motor vehicle crashes. The Vermont State Police wish to remind everyone to ever
drink and drive.
