SUMMARY OF CRASH:


On December 29, 2016, at approximately 1743 hours, State Police were notified of a single car motor vehicle collision that occurred on Vermont Route 116 S near the intersection of Carlstrom Road. State Police arrived on scene and subsequently identified the operator as Sree Susarla. Susarla advised that prior to the collision, he was travelling northbound on Vermont Route 116 S at approximately 40mph. Susarla stated that he attempted to navigate a left curve near the intersection of Carlstrom Road when his tires began to slide. Susarla stated that he tried to apply his brakes and adjust his steering, but that he subsequently went off the road before colliding with a guardrail on Carlstrom Road. No injuries were sustained as a result of the collision and Susarla's vehicle sustained significant front end contact damage. Drugs nor alcohol were found to be contributing factors in the collision.


State Police were assisted on scene by the Addison County Sheriff's Department and the Bristol Fire Department.
