SUMMARY OF CRASH:

                On the above date and time, State Police in Middlesex responded to a two-vehicle collision on Elmore Rd in Worcester.  Upon arrival, operator 2 was transported to Central Vermont Medical Center for minor injuries and operator 1 was unresponsive and entrapped in his vehicle.  Several fire and EMS crews worked to extricate operator 1 and he was transported to CVMC as well for incapacitating injuries.  Operator 1 was subsequently transported to UVM Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.  Based on their investigation, State Police have determined that the operator of vehicle 1 crossed into oncoming traffic and struck vehicle 2 head on.  Further investigation is ongoing at this time.
