SUMMARY OF CRASH:
Troopers from the New Haven Barracks responded to single vehicle crash on Monkton Rd in the town of Ferrisburgh. Investigation indicated Darnell Alford, the operator of the Camry, was traveling east when he came upon a vehicle stopped in the roadway. Alford applied his brakes, however, began to slide. To avoid the collision, Alford drove into a culvert, striking a tree and damaging his vehicle. The impact with the tree rendered Alford’s Camry inoperable. Neither Alford nor any of his four passengers were injured as a result of the crash.
Road and weather conditions were contributing factors of this crash.
