SUMMARY OF CRASH:
Troopers from the New Haven Barracks responded to single vehicle crash involving a utility pole on VT RT 17 near the Champlain Marina.  Preliminary investigation indicates the operator, Mark Huff lost control of his truck on the slippery road surface, left the roadway and struck a utility pole guide wire.  Upon contacting the support cable, the top portion of the pole broke and required replacement.
GMP was detailed to replace the pole.
Huff was not injured and drove his truck from the scene.
