SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On December 10, 2016 at approximately 1831 hours, troopers from the Vermont State Police –Rutland Barracks stopped a vehicle on Summit Road in the Town of Killington for an equipment violation. The operator was identified as Edward J. Pearsall. He displayed signs of alcohol impairment. Pearsall refused to submit to a preliminary breath test. He was taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police Barracks in Rutland Town. He was processed for DUI and released on a citation to appear at Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division on December 27, 2016 at 1230 hours to answer to the charge of DUI.

 

The Killington Police Department assisted with this investigation.
