SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On December 1, 2016 at approximately 1129 hours VT State Police Williston Troopers responded to Mt. Philo State Park for the report of two car break ins. Upon arrival, it was found that two vehicles with out of state registration plates had been broken into. Both vehicles sustained broken

side windows. Approximately $3,700 of personal property to include an Apple Mac Pro Silver Lap top, designer purse and wallets, $600 in cash, and other personal belongings were stolen. The total value of damaged vehicle glass is approximately $500. Troopers continue to remind citizens to not leave valuables in their cars while hiking at VT State Parks and while utilizing parking access points.
