SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On 12/27/2016 at approximately 1232 hours, Troopers from the Vermont State Police responded to a two vehicle crash at the intersection of Old Stonehouse Rd and VT Rt 125, in the town of Addison, Vt.  Upon arrival it was learned that a Ford, truck, operated by Ethan Gevry, struck V#2 a, 2017 Subaru, Forester operated by Jacqueline Cid. Preliminary investigation indicates, Operator #1, Gevry was attempting to enter VT Rt 125 from Old Stonehouse Rd and struck Operator #2, Cid, as she travelled east on VT Rt 125. 

 

There were no injuries as result of this crash.  V#1 was driven from the scene:  V#2 had sustained disabling damage and was removed from the scene by Midd State Wrecker Service.

 

Slippery Road conditions are believed to be contributing factor to this crash.

Vermont Civil Violation Complaint:  Gevry was issued a Vermont Civil Violation for violating Title 23 VSA 1046 (c)(3),  “Vehicle Approaching or Entering an Intersection”.
