SUMMARY OF CRASH: On December 17, 2016, at approximately 8:45 A.M. Troopers with the Vermont State Police, Westminster Barracks, responded to Route 30 in Jamaica in the area of Bourbon Run Road for the report of a single vehicle rollover crash. Upon arrival, Troopers spoke with the operator, Evan Feinberg, 25, of New York,  N.Y. Feinberg stated he was traveling north on Route 30, which was snow covered, at a speed of fifty miles per hour. Feinberg stated as he descended the hill and rounded a corner, he lost control of his vehicle, a 2002, Ford, Explorer. Feinberg traveled across the southbound lane of Route 30 then off the roadway where his vehicle rolled onto its roof. Feinberg was not injured and was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. Speed was determined to be a contributing factor in this crash. Feinberg was issued a Vermont Civil Violation Complaint (ticket) for operating too fast for the road conditions with a crash resulting.
