SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On 12/05/2016 at approximately 12:56 pm, a member of the Vermont State Police, Westminster Station responded to Hale Road in the Town of Halifax for a reported single vehicle crash. 

 

Investigation found that a vehicle being operated by Mr. Willis Brewer, 67 of Halifax, VT, was headed eastbound down a snow packed steep grade when he lost control of his Chevrolet pickup truck.   Mr. Brewer attempted to stop but continued to slide down hill, crossed Hale Road and subsequently went off the roadway into a drainage ditch. 

 

No injuries were sustained while Mr. Brewer’s vehicle suffered only minor damage.  Mr. Brewer’s vehicle was pulled back on to the roadway Marlboro Collision and Towing of Marlboro.
