SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On 12/12/16 Vermont State Police responded to multiple motor vehicle crashes in Windsor and Orange Counties.  These included crashes reported on I91, I89, VT Rt 65, and VT Route 107.  All of the crashes involved one vehicle sliding off the roadway due to speed and road conditions.  While interviewing drivers at these crashes it was found that at least 2 of the 5 drivers involved in crashes were travelling over the posted speed limit with the existing road conditions being wet or partially snow covered.  One driver was not wearing a seatbelt and received minor injuries.

Vermont State Police would like to remind all motorists that during inclement weather please slow down and allow our road crews to do their jobs.  Please be mind full of changing road conditions and always wear your seatbelt.
