SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On December 5, 2016 at approximately 06:58 hours the Vermont State Police and Ferrisburgh Fire Department responded to a two vehicle crash on U.S. Route 7 near Pierce Lane in the Town of Ferrisburgh. Investigation revealed that operator #1, Genevieve Williamson of Ferrisburgh Vermont, had attempted to enter onto U.S. Route 7 from her driveway and had miscalculated and failed to yield to oncoming traffic. Operator #2, Justin Morway of Williston Vermont, had been travelling south bound and was unable to slow down in time to avoid the collision in the south bound lane due to snow and ice conditions. There were no injuries in this incident.
