SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On 12/29/16 at approximately 1220 hours, Meyer was exiting from Interstate 91 southbound at exit 1 in Brattleboro. As Meyer’s traveled down the off ramp at a reported 30 miles per hour, she lost control, went off the roadway, struck a highway sign and then struck rock ledges. Meyer’s vehicle became stuck in the snow. Brattleboro Towing responded and towed the vehicle from the scene. The exit 1 off ramp was briefly closed while the vehicle was removed.   Meyer was issued a warning for traveling too fast for the existing road conditions, a violation of Title 23 VSA 1081(a). It should be noted that Meyer’s vehicle was not equipped with snow tires.
