SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On 12/15/2016 at approximately 1005 hours, members from the VSP Westminster Barracks responded to a single vehicle crash on Higley Hill Road in the Town of Marlboro. During the roadside investigation, it was determined that the operator Curtis Barletta was traveling eastbound on Higley Hill Road at approximately 35 miles per hour. As Barletta attempted to navigate through a moderate curve to the left, he lost control, went off the roadway and struck a tree. There were no reported injuries. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Brattleboro Towing. Barletta was issued a warning for speeds too fast for the existing road conditions, a violation of Title 23 VSA 1081(a).
