6th Annual OPERATION FIRE CUFFS
December 6, 2016 – OPERATION FIRE CUFFS is growing! Now in its 6th year, 3 Vermont State Police barracks and 14 other Vermont law enforcement and first responder agencies are teaming up to gather new toys and/or donations for this Christmas Holiday Season. The toys will be delivered by Santa to The University of Vermont Children’s Hospital on Thursday, December 15th, at 1:30pm. In need are all types of toys, for both boys and girls, ranging in age from toddler to teen. The agencies listed below are standing by to receive donations from the public during normal business hours. It is asked that donations be dropped off by December 14th. The OPERATION FIRE CUFFS team will gladly receive your toy donations unwrapped. All toys will be accepted, however the Vermont Children’s Hospital has identified some specific areas of need.
Infants: Rattles and mobiles.
Toddlers: Musical toys, pop-up toys, stand & walk toys, large blocks, stacking toys and trains.
School Age: Legos, art kits (jewelry making, painting) and athletic gear, balls, clothes, etc.
Tweens: Nail polish, body lotion and journals.
Gift cards: iTunes, Walmart, Kmart, Best Buy, Hannaford, Chili’s, etc.
