SUMMARY OF CRASHES:

On December 5, 2016, between 0630 and 0940 hrs, Vermont State Police assigned to the Rutland Barracks responded to several calls regarding minor motor vehicle incidents involving motorists that had slid off the snow covered roads due to driving too fast for the conditions. The majority of these calls occurred on the main arteries such as US RT 7, US RT 4, VT RT 30, VT RT 133 and VT RT 22a. No injuries were reported and all vehicles were either removed or pulled back onto the road by local tow services.

 

Motorists are encouraged to reduce their speed and drive with caution while operating on snow covered roads.
