SUMMARY OF CRASH:

                   On December 10, 2016 at approximately 0957 hours Vermont State Police from the Williston Barracks responded to the intersection of Rte. 117,  also known as River Road, and Barber Farm Road in the Town of Jericho for a report of a single vehicle roll over.  Upon arrival Troopers met with Troy Collins who stated he failed to make a turn and drove off the road and rolled over.  While speaking to the Troopers Collins showed signs of impairment.  Collins denied consuming any alcohol and provided a sample of his breath road side with a result of .332 %.  Due to his level of impairment and the resulting crash, Collins was transported to University of Vermont Medical Center to be evaluated.  He was later released having not sustained any injuries in the crash.  He was processed at the State Police Barracks in Williston and released on a citation to appear in court to answer the charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants.  Underhill / Jericho Fire and Essex Rescue assisted with the scene.
