SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On 11-17-16 at approximately 8:56 pm, the Vermont State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on a Vermont registered vehicle on Route 30 in Jamaica due to a defective rear plate light.  The operator, Arthur Bigelow showed signs of alcohol impairment and as a result was put through Field Sobriety Exercises.  After failed FSE's Bigelow was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of alcohol.  Bigelow refused to provide a Preliminary Breathe Sample.  Bigelow was processed and issued a Citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court in Brattleboro on December 6, 2016.
