SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On 11/12/16 Troopers received a report of a vehicle operated by Sandra Smith that left the scene of a crash at the Waits River Country Store in West Topsham, VT. Troopers located Smith at a nearby camp and upon further investigation determined that Smith was under the influence of alcohol while operating a motor vehicle. When Troopers attempted to arrest Smith she became highly combative and kicked one of the Troopers and attempted to escape. Smith was secured and transported to the Bradford Outpost for processing and subsequently lodged at NERCF.
