VICTIM: Trey Young

AGE: 45

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: New Haven, Connecticut

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 11/21/16, at approximately 5:51 PM, members of the Vermont State Police Search and Rescue Team located Trey Young in a wooded area off Eastham Road, in the Town of Shrewsbury.  Young was found in good health approximately 24 hours after he was reported missing.  He was evaluated by members of Rutland Regional Ambulance, at the Shrewsbury Fire Department and then reunited with his family.  The State Police were assisted in the search by members of the Rutland City Fire Department, Killington Search and Rescue, The Vermont Fish and Game, New England Canine and Upper Valley Wilderness Rescue.
