SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On November 8, 2016, at 2316 hours, the Vermont State Police was notified of a two vehicle crash in Georgia on I-89 N near mile marker 109. Upon arrival vehicle 2 was partially on top of vehicle 1 on the west embankment of the highway. Operator 1 failed to maintain her lane and collided with vehicle 2. Both vehicles subsequently ended up in the median on the west side of the northbound lane of travel. Both operators declined medical attention. Vehicle 1 sustained damage to the passenger’s side of the body, and vehicle 2 sustained damage to the driver’s side of the body. Both vehicles were towed by J&L Auto in St Albans. Operator 1 was determined to be operating under the influence of alcohol and was subsequently arrested for DUI.
