SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On 11/20/16, at approximately 1720 hours, a member of the Vermont State Police, responded to a deer vs. vehicle crash on West Hill Road in the Town of Putney. Investigation revealed that Coskun W. Goksel, 19, was the operator of Vehicle 1, and was traveling west on West Hill Road when a deer crossed his path of travel. As a result, V1 made contact with the deer causing minor damage to V1.  The deer die as a result of the impact and was picked up by a resident in the area who obtained permission to retrieve it from the Vermont Fish and Wild Life Game Warden.
