VIOLATION: DUI / Excessive Speed and Negligent Operation

 

ACCUSED: Robert M. LaClaire                                             

AGE: 34

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Turners Falls, MA

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On 11/22/2016 at approximately 1838 hours, a member of the Vermont State Police was participating in DUI detail monitoring traffic on Interstate 91 northbound in the Town of Guilford. While monitoring traffic, the Trooper measured a northbound vehicles speed at 106 miles per hour in a posted 65 miles per hour zone. The vehicle was stopped. During the roadside investigation, the Trooper determined that LaClaire was impaired. LaClaire was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI, Excessive Speed and Negligent Operation.  LaClaire was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division on December 6th, 2016 to answer to the above charges.
