SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at approximately 1758 hours Troopers from the Vermont State Police –Rutland Barracks were monitoring traffic on US Route 4 between River Road and East Mountain Road in the Town of Killington. Troopers observed a vehicle traveling 83 mph in the 50 mph speed zone. As Troopers were trying to catch the vehicle, the operator continued at approximately the same speed, while passing another vehicle. Troopers were able to catch up to and stop the vehicle; identifying the operator as Joseph Alvarado.

 

Alvarado was cited to appear at Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division on December 19, 2016 at 8:30 AM to answer to the charge of Excessive Speed.
