VIOLATION: Retail Theft, Disorderly Conduct, Assault on Law Enforcement with Bodily Fluids, Resisting Arrest

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On 11/18/2016 at approximately 9:06 pm Vermont State Police responded to a report of an intoxicated woman stealing wine and chips at the Jolley Convenience Store located at 341 VT Rte. 15, Jericho.  

 

Upon the Troopers arrival the female was intoxicated and belligerent.  She resisted being taken into custody and spit in a Troopers face.  

 

The female was later identified as Brittanie Desautels, 25, of Cambridge.   Desautels was subsequently taken to Chittenden Regional Correctional Center as a de-tox/incapacitated person.   She is scheduled to appear in court on 12/27/2016.
