 SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 On 11/8/2016 at approximately 1740 hours Vermont State Police and South Burlington Fire Dept. responded to a report of a three vehicle crash on I-189, westbound in the town of South Burlington.  

Investigation determined Vehicle #1, driven by Mengis had been traveling west-bound on I-189 when it collided with Vehicle #2, driven by Krans, who had slowed due to traffic congestion. Vehicle #2 as a result of the collision was propelled forward at which point it struck the rear end of Vehicle #3, driven by McIntyre.

All occupants of the vehicles were wearing seat belts and were not injured.
