SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On November 20th 2016, at approximately 1300 hours the Vermont State Police

along with rescue and fire agencies responded to a head on crash. The crash

involved two vehicles, and occurred on VT RT 9 in the Town of Woodford. When

Troopers arrived on scene they observed Veh#1 with extensive front end damage

within the west bound travel lane.  The operator of Veh#1, who was identified as

Jessica McClintock, was being treated by rescue on scene. Veh#2 was located off

the east bound edge of the roadway with extensive damage to the front end. The

operator of Veh#2 was identified as Eric Beidleman.  Beidleman was still located

in his vehicle upon police arrival. Beidleman's passengers (identified above)

were being treated for their injuries on scene.

Troopers learned Veh#1 was travelling west on VT RT 9 when Op#1, McClintock,  lost

control of the vehicle. In an attempt to gain control of the vehicle McClintock

overcorrected and entered the east bound travel lane colliding with the front of

Veh#2. The roadway at the time of the crash was snow covered.  All occupants of

the vehicles were wearing their seatbelts and transported to SVMC for treatment and evaluation.

The Vermont State Police are continuing to investigate the crash. Anyone with information is

encouraged to contact the Vermont State Police at 802-442-5421.  Information can also be submitted

anonymously online at www.vtips.info or  text "CRIMES" (274637) to Keyword: VTIPS.
