SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On 11/3/2016 at approximately 0136 hrs. Vermont State Police, Shelburne Police, VT DMV, Charlotte Fire and Charlotte EMS responded to a report of a car vs. tractor trailer crash on Rte. 7, Charlotte.  

 

Investigation determined the tractor trailer was traveling northbound and a passenger car was traveling southbound.   The operator of the passenger car was

killed as a result of the collision.   The identity of the deceased will be released in an additional media release after the next of kin have been

notified.  

 

The crash is still under investigation.   Rte. 7 is expected to remain closed for several hours.  Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes.
