SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On November 17, 2016 at approximately 5:39 P.M., Vermont State Police

conducted a motor vehicle stop on Vermont Route 103, in the Town of

Ludlow. During the investigation it was determined that the operator of

the vehicle, Paul Clingenpeel, had been consuming alcohol. Clingenpeel consented to

performing field sobriety exercises and provided preliminary breath

sample which indicated his BAC to be .112%. Clingenpeel was arrested for suspicion

of Driving Under the Influence and transported to the Ludlow Police Station for

processing. Clingenpeel was fingerprinted, photographed, and issued a criminal

citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court Windsor Division at a

later date.
