VIOLATION: Possession of Heroin, Possession of Regulated Drug, Arrest Warrants

 

ACCUSED: Derrick O'Keefe and Barbara Chase                                               

AGE: 23 and 35

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Lyndonville, VT

 

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: State Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Derrick O'Keefe on Broad Street in Lyndonville after learning he had a warrant for his arrest. During the stop, O'Keefe attempted to discard several bags of heroin. He was arrested on two outstanding warrants and possession of heroin. His passenger, Barbara Chase, was found to be in possession of a regulated drug and was issued a citation (Caledonia Court-01/23/2017) for possession of heroin and possession of a regulated drug.  A search warrant executed on the vehicle yielded several more bags of heroin bringing the total seizure to 18 bags. O'Keefe was lodged on the arrest warrants and issued a citation for possession of heroin (Caledonia Court-01/23/2017).
