VIOLATION: Impeding an Investigation and Resisting Arrest

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Pownal VT

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On 11-28-2016 at 2343 hours the Vermont State Police responded to 184 Valley View Road, located in the Town of Pownal, VT for a family fight complaint. Upon arrival and making contact with the parties involved, Sally Baker (44) of Pownal began obstructing in the investigation. VSP attempted to take Baker into custody when a struggle ensued. Baker was subsequently pepper sprayed and eventually subdued by Troopers. Baker was arrested for Resisting Arrest and Impeding an Investigation. Baker was ordered to be held in custody until sober and is ordered to appear in Bennington Superior Court-Criminal Division on 11-29-2016 at 1230 hours to answer to the above stated charges.
