DUI Crash in Waltham

DAMAGE TO VEHICLE: Totaled, rollover.

SUMMARY OF CRASH: 

 

VSP-New Haven Barracks was dispatched to a single vehicle rollover crash on 11/20/2016 at approximately 1840 hours in the town of Waltham.  There were no injuries in the crash, however Fire and Ambulance were dispatched to the scene to assist. The operator identified himself as Jonathon Kaul. Upon speaking with Kaul, an odor of intoxicants was detected emitting from his person. Kaul gave consent to a preliminary breath test which yielded a BAC of .134%. Kaul was subsequently placed under an investigative detention and transported to the New Haven Barracks where he performed standardized field sobriety exercises and was subsequently placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence.
